History
This organization was set up many years ago to help young girls, who may have financial barriers, to achieve their dreams of having a beautiful dress for their graduation.
Who We Assist
All students are referred to our organization through their school counsellors, church organizations, or by Social Services. It is important to note that there is NO cost to the students or their families. If there are extenuating circumstances that a student cannot go through the counsellors or teachers (such as traveling a long distance or disabled) we will review on a case by case basis.
Why
A number of students have overcome tremendous hardships and have persevered to complete their education and deserve the full positive experience of attending a graduation. By providing Grade Nine (short dresses) and Grade Twelve (all Grad attire) graduates with a dress of their choice they can enjoy this special day.
We start dressing the first week in March and continue until the end of April each year. We accept donations all year around.
